Data Deletion & Account Removal

Shree DedalMata Bhajnawali (package com.samroid.shreededalmatabhajnawali), published by Samroid Apps, has no user accounts and no login, and does not collect personal data. Because there is no personal profile stored on any server, there is no account or personal data on our side to delete. This page explains what little data does exist and exactly how you can remove or limit it. It complements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

1. Summary

The app is a free, fully offline devotional app. You never create an account and you never sign in. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts or location, and we do not build any personal profile of you. As a result, there is no personal data held on our servers to delete.

2. What data exists

Only two small categories of data are involved when you use the app:

• Your in-app settings — preferences such as font size, theme, background, language and auto-scroll are stored locally on your device only (using local AsyncStorage). They never leave your phone and are never sent to us.
• Anonymous analytics & diagnostics — collected in an anonymous, aggregate way by Google Firebase Analytics and Google Firebase Crashlytics (app-activity events, general device and diagnostic information, crash reports, and a random app-instance identifier that marks events as coming from the same installation). This is not tied to your identity and is never sold or used for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

3. Delete your local app data

Your in-app settings live only on your device, so you are always in full control of them. To remove them, do either of the following:

• Uninstall the app — this deletes all locally stored settings; or
• Go to Android Settings → Apps → Shree DedalMata Bhajnawali → Storage → Clear data.

Either action removes all locally stored settings for the app — including your saved font size, theme, background, language and auto-scroll preferences. The next time you open the app it simply starts again with default settings.

4. Delete or limit analytics data

The analytics collected via Firebase is anonymous and is not linked to you, so it cannot be used to identify an individual. You can still limit or reduce it:

• Reset your Advertising ID in your device settings so past activity cannot be correlated with future activity;
• Limit ad/analytics tracking in Android Settings → Privacy (the exact path may vary by device and Android version);
• To request removal of any Firebase analytics data associated with your device, email us (see below) and we will forward the request per Google's data-deletion process.

5. How to request deletion

If you would like us to action a deletion request, email [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request". To help us assist you, please include:

• Your device model and Android version;
• The approximate dates you used the app, if relevant;
• A short note of what you would like us to do.

We respond within 30 days. On receiving your request, we confirm what data (if any) can be associated with your device, forward any applicable analytics-deletion request to Google's process, and reply to let you know the outcome. Because we hold no personal profile of you, there is typically nothing personally identifying on our side to erase.

6. Account deletion — not applicable

The app has no accounts and no login. There is no username, password, email or profile associated with your use of the app. As a result, there is no account to delete, and "account deletion" simply does not apply. If you want to fully remove your footprint, uninstalling the app (see section 3) is all that is required.

7. What cannot be deleted

Content bundled inside the app — the bhajan, aarti, chalisa and granth text — is shared devotional material and is not personal data. It is part of the app itself and is not linked to you in any way, so there is nothing personal to delete there. Removing it simply means uninstalling the app.

8. Data retention

Your local settings remain on your device only until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Anonymous analytics and diagnostic data is retained by Google according to Firebase's standard retention policies. We do not retain any personal data on our own servers, because none is collected. For more on how information is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
