Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Shree DedalMata Bhajnawali app (package com.samroid.shreededalmatabhajnawali), a free Android devotional app published by Samroid Apps. The app is dedicated to Dedal Mata and offers bhajan, aarti, chalisa, the Dedal Dadi Mangal Path, the Narayani Charit Manas and content for five deities, all bundled for fully offline reading. By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page.

1. About these terms

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Samroid Apps regarding your use of the Shree DedalMata Bhajnawali app. The app is offered as a free devotional seva for the community: there are no advertisements, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no user accounts or login. All devotional content is bundled inside the app and can be read fully offline.

2. Acceptance

By accessing, downloading, installing or using the app, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the app. If you are using the app on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Eligibility

You may use the app if you are able to form a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you, or if you use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. The app contains devotional reading content suitable for a general audience of all ages and is not directed at children for the purpose of collecting any personal data — indeed, the app collects no personal data at all.

4. Licence to use

The app is provided free of charge. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial devotional use only.

• You may: read, recite and privately enjoy the devotional content; adjust reading settings; and use the app on your own devices.
• You may not: sell, rent, sub-licence, redistribute or commercially exploit the app or its content; charge others for access; or use the app in any way that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

5. Devotional & scripture content notice

The scripture, paath, chalisa, bhajan and aarti text is provided with reverence, for reading and recitation. Much of this content has been transcribed and digitised from devotee-shared physical books and PDF sources. While we take great care to reproduce it faithfully, occasional transcription errors may remain.

6. Intellectual property

The app's name, design, layout, source code and original artwork are the property of Samroid Apps (© Samroid Apps) and are protected by applicable laws. The underlying scriptural and devotional texts are traditional devotional content that forms part of shared religious heritage; our rights extend to the specific presentation, compilation and software, not to the sacred texts themselves. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app itself without our written permission.

7. Acceptable use / prohibited conduct

When using the app, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• Resell, redistribute, sub-licence or commercially exploit the app or its content;
• Modify, tamper with, or create derivative works of the app;
• Use the app to violate any law, or to misuse, damage or disrupt the app or its providers;
• Remove or obscure any proprietary notices contained in the app.

8. Third-party services

The app is distributed through Google Play and uses Google services (such as Firebase Analytics for anonymous diagnostics, as described in our Privacy Policy). Your use of Google Play and Google services is also subject to Google's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

9. Availability, updates & changes to the app

The app is provided as-is and on an "as available" basis. We may, at our discretion, update, modify, suspend or discontinue the app or any part of it — including content and features — at any time and without prior notice. We are not obligated to provide updates or to keep the app available indefinitely.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The app and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that the devotional text is entirely free of transcription errors.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Samroid Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or any loss arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the app. Since the app is provided free of charge, your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction is to stop using and uninstall the app.

12. Privacy

The app does not collect personal data and has no accounts or login. Your reading settings stay on your device, and only anonymous, aggregate analytics is processed. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy and, for removal instructions, our Data Deletion page.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, please stop using and uninstall the app.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
